Electronic communications are the preferred method of communication from the Office of Financial Aid. This allows the office to communicate as expeditiously and efficiently as possible with students. However, we recognize that some students may have a need to opt-out of electronic communications and to receive paper communications. In order to opt out of electronic communications, visit the Office of Financial Aid in-person to complete the paper request. The office is located in the Dreisbach/Anderson Student Success Center, Barton Campus, 506 S. Pleasantburg Dr. Greenville, SC 29607. Please note that opting out of electronic communications may significantly delay the processing time for financial aid.

Students who have applied for financial aid can view their individualized Shopping Sheet in Student Self-Service (through GTC4me - login required) by clicking on the Financial Aid link, then clicking on Financial Aid Shopping Sheet from the top drop-down menu.

The purpose of the student grievance procedure is to provide a system to channel and resolve student complaints against a college employee concerning decisions made or actions taken. A decision or action can be grieved only if it involves a misapplication of a college’s policies, procedures or regulations, or a state or federal law.
The Annual Notice to Students regarding the Family Education Rights & Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) explains the student’s rights related to his/her student education records, including disclosure of information and directory information.
